Powers, abilities and/or inhuman traits:
Beyond being able to house an angel of the lord without being a drooling mess as a direct result, Claire gets by on talent and dedication to honing her hunting skills. She knows a little Enochian, but not much, and is proficient with many different weapons, can hold her own in a fight, and knows how to survive on the lam.

She's also a proficient pick-pocket and con artist.

MANIFESTATION
Character flaws/traumas:
Claire can be bitter and closed-off, underneath all of the sarcastic bravado she has a hard time dealing with things and letting people in. It's a lot easier to stay solo and Jody Mills and Alex had a hard time breaking through the walls she'd put up. Life after thirteen wasn't easy for Claire and being in and out of the system and a stone's throw from juvenile detention didn't help her when it came to socializing. She learned early on that the best person she could ever rely on was herself. Claire calls it like she sees it, and doesn't care if the truth hurts. She's opinionated to a fault, direct, and doesn't censor herself, especially with the people that she cares about. When Castiel came to rescue her she tells him exactly what she thinks of him. "Haven't you done enough?" She doesn't cushion the blow, doesn't care that he's remorseful. She is clear and precise and has no problem calling things what they are. There's no point in sugar-coating it.

If someone tells her she can't do something, she'll show them she can. Claire's stubborn and rebellious streak is deeper than Trench itself. She doesn't like being told what to do and will go the distance to get shit done, even at the expense of herself. Getting into a knife fight with a werewolf so she could prove she knew what she was doing as a hunter ended with her being bitten and the Winchesters having to find and maim the werewolf so that she could be cured. Not many eat the heart of a werewolf and live to tell the tale, but she's proof that it's reversible.

There's not many twenty-somethings out there as callous and as intense as she is. Not many girls are willing to live out of a Subura Loyal to avenge their dead girlfriend or roll up and a British MI6-type agency with a fully loaded flame thrower. She takes it to a whole new level and has no problem beating up a bartender or putting her own needs on the line to make a point.

Her biggest trauma and the thing that took everything from her was her father giving himself over to the angel Castiel, from there she lost her entire family, her life, and any semblance of normalcy. At seventeen Claire was a vagrant answering to a man fine with trading her for his own safety. A lot happened as a direct result of Castiel needing a vessel to thwart the apocalypse. Sure, she became a hunter, but she also lost any shot at happiness right along with it.

Manifestation name: Winged Torment
Character trait(s) the Manifestation reflects: The manifestation represents the hosts involvement in her life. What it took from her once the angel touched down and what she has continued to go through as a direct result. All of her venom, sorrow, weariness, resentment the whole kit and kaboodle.
Description: A glowing winged half-beast creature with eyes covering its body, many crying, some enraged. Despite all the eyes and eyelids, the skin is translucent and the heart glows violent red, stained at the center with a black blot that spreads out from the chest into the wings.
Attacks and behavior: Along with the power of flight, Winged Torment also has large talons capable of clawing, grabbing, and scratching in close proximity. The wings themselves can release powerful gusts of air capable of knocking others onto the ground and keeping them at bay. The most powerful attack that it has is a Wail of Anguish that acts as a psionic scream that is not only painful to the ears, and strong enough to shake the ground and break glass.

Path towards resolution:
Claire has never really dealt with what happened to her and what caused her life to go off the rails the way it did. To survive, she had to move forward. She forgave Castiel but their relationship remains strained being that he still occupies the body of her father. She's seen a lot of death, and a lot of violence, and some of that can't be rectified. Her initial reaction to the manifestation is going to be shock and horror. She won't immediately correlate it to herself, denial will play a large factor in that.

To resolve the manifestation Claire would have to learn to vocalize more than just the negative emotions that she feels. She'd have to come to terms with her place in the world, her own powerlessness, and really accept her losses for what they are. She'd also have to lose all the walls she's built up and learn to lean on people the way they lean on her. Openness in all aspects, or enough of it to balance the island of one mentality that got her into this mess, to begin with.
