Personality:
From zero to sixty real quick, one minute Claire was your everyday run of the mill twelve-year-old, and the next she was playing host to an angel. "It's like being chained to a comet," is what her dad said, and that's putting it lightly. He gave himself back to Castiel, the angel, in an effort to save her from life as a vessel. It was a commitment he thought she was too young to make, and the last real act as a father he ever got to do. The very last images she retained of her dad was of him bleeding on the floor, once Castiel took hold again that was it. The end of a normal childhood, and the end of who she was before it all.

Say goodbye to the babyfaced blonde, because when life hands you a raw deal you play out the cards. Claire grew up in a rough state, with rougher people, and tested her own limits by constantly pursuing dangerous situations. By the time she was eighteen, she became an efficient street urchin, picking pockets was an Olympic sport, shoplifting wasn't worth blinking at. She had it down to an art, so when she finally got pinched, doing a job for the wrong guys she never expected Castiel to show up again with his two pet hobos.

After her mom decided to take the, "Eat Pray Love," tour and branch out to find herself, she moved on with the motto that nobody was going to save her and the only long-term pay-offs were brought on by doing it herself and solving the issue on her own terms. Asking for help was like asking for someone to screw you over. People weren't worth trusting, and now that she knew what was really out there, everything and everyone was worth doubting.

Castiel came around at her breaking point, and that's the only reason she confided in him. After being attacked, and then abandoned again, by someone that was supposed to care his face just made her angry because it wasn't who she wanted it to be, but they both had been throw enough to change them, and when amends were made she found solace with Jody Mills and the maternal mentor that she didn't know she needed.

Jody didn't take any shit, and neither did Claire, with a stubborn streak a mile wide Claire went out of her way to push Jody's limits, but she never left. Neither did Sam, or Dean. Or Castiel. Her new little family was fucked up, but at least they stuck around.

After losing both parents to angels, one the real deal, the other a Grigori, Claire found passion and purpose in trying to prevent other people from the same fate. No one was surprised when she became a hunter, the college education she left behind was seriously surpassed by street smarts and acuity with weapons and combat Claire needed very little training, she was a natural.

Her indefatigable drive to help people, and save others makes her a valuable asset to the team. She's untiring in her pursuit to finish her cases, sometimes at the expense of herself, but always finds her way back to family in the end with loyalty still being a key component of her character.

Claire is okay with admitting that monsters are real, but the faith in the unknown she once had as a child was the very thing that tore her family apart and created the self-doubt and spiral effect in her own relative growth. She's been able to come back from it stronger than ever and prove her resourcefulness, and resilience time and time again but still can be bitter and sarcastic as a direct result. Her indifference to hope and faith can come across as callous and her indirect approach to friendships dissuades some people her age from really connecting with her. She doesn't sugar coat things and very rarely sympathizes with situations she can see straight through. Bullshit is bullshit, even if you put it in a pretty package.

Challenging people, and things are part of who she is, and she has no qualms about calling shit out when she sees it. The best part of this is how tenacious and determined she's become since being at rock bottom. A purpose has been found in what she does, and each experience she gains comes along with a wealth of knowledge because she isn't afraid to ask questions when she has to. Life on the street taught her how to lie efficiently and blend in to maintain the ruse, every time she's been on hard lucks she's found a way to reframe it and has used it time and time again to her own advantage.

She has some difficulty expressing herself and her needs to others, but that's because the reliable influence was never there and she usually had to figure out how to cope on her own. She thrives on beating down situations that people think she can't handle and tackling the problems that other people haven't solved. Challenging authority is another favorite and typically is done with a sense of quiet intellect now that she's gotten older and isn't so trigger happy. It's all relative, and she's learned a lot from Sam, Dean, Jody, on the road out of ruin. Now she treats each new case and situation with hyperfocus and ruthless cunning akin to Jody's own elaborate research and goes into each new trial confidently like Dean. Her dedication to the facts, to maintaining her schedule, and her own learning curve is something directly handed down from Sam. Continuing on, even when the odds are against her is something inherited but also taught from her dad and from Castiel. Claire has become a mosaic of everyone she loves with the centerpiece being the spark of desire that fuels it all and is entirely her.

Abilities/Powers/Weaknesses & Warping:
Beyond being able to house an angel of the lord without being a drooling mess as a direct result, Claire gets by on talent and dedication to honing her hunting skills.

She's also a proficient pick-pocket and con-artist.

Inventory: One angel-blade, her car (1990 subaru loyal), a grumpy cat, a family photo, a werewolf tooth necklace made from leather and silver, and a dufflebag of clothes

Are you comfortable with prominent elements of fourth-walling?: For purposes of the game, absolutely. For other players, Claire will either think you're crazy, psychic, or that you read some of those stupid books.
What themes of horror/psychological thrillers do you enjoy the most?: Desperation, definitely the kind of thriller that makes you question what is happening and where you stand with it.
Is there anything, in particular, you absolutely need specific content warnings for?: I'm okay, so long as things are marked I don't need any extras.
